主要从事凝聚态物理,分子物理,非线性光学,激光光谱,液晶以及表面科学。近些年,发展了一套新的探测表面和界面的非线性光学技术,可以得到在分子层面关于界面水分子结构和取向以及吸附分子的构型。研究兴趣还包括研究冰以及氧化物的界面,发展灵敏的非线性光谱技术用于探测手性分子,纳米复合材料和特异材料(如石墨烯,metamaterial等)的光谱研究。
Condensed matter physics, molecular physics, nonlinear optics, laser spectroscopy, liquid crystals, and surface sciences. More recently developed novel nonlinear optical techniques to probe surfaces and interfaces, which can provide molecular-level information about interfacial water structures and orientations and conformation of adsorbates. Other interests include the study of ice and oxide interfaces, development of a sensitive nonlinear optical spectroscopic technique to probe molecular chirality, and optical spectroscopy of nanostructures composite structures, and exotic materials.
